Just spent the day ski touring with my mate, having had a dump of snow early this week. Climbed up the Pic de l'Escalette (1856m), Starting from the Col de Menthe (1349m) and skied down in virgin snow, blue sky, it doesn't get much better than this! Even the temperature was chilly 8-. Great training for the Mont Blanc.
