Toulouse Christmas Market

We spent the day in Toulouse for the Christmas Market, which was great fun, there was music playing, we saw Santa's helper, and then had Lunch in a nice restaurant even if the waitress was a bit stroppy! We went up with our friends, caught the metro very chic! A bit of Christmas shopping had to be done, here's a few pics of Jasmine on the carousel, its beautiful.

Its beggining to feel alot like christmas!

Snow has arrived here in the pyrenees for the 4th time this month, but it's a welcome sight here. It's very christmassy and beautiful, Jasmine has had a ball outside making snow angels and having snowball fights. Thom thinks its great too although not so keen on it in his hands.

Visit to the uk to meet Baby Grace!

October 15th - 8th November 2010:
We have been to the uk to meet baby Grace who arrived 3rd November 2010 @22.35 weighing 3545 kilos, and shes beautiful.

She was a little bit poorly in the first few days, she has a floppy syndrome which the drs are trying to find out what it is, Cherish as a baby had the same thing. 21 Years later and she is fine.

We had a fabulous time back anyway seeing all the gang and Jas and Thom had a Halloween party 30th October and fireworks, great time was had by all.

So we eventually left the uk to get back home having been away for 3 weeks all in all, one last cuddle with baby Grace and we have to leave. But we'll be back really soon for more cuddles.

Central heating is being installed!!!!

Wow, it's finally getting done all thanks to our mate Razor (Ian to some of you) He's been here for a week, and did a few days work, then went off up the mountain with Bruce!!! Great week though, the heating is not all finished yet, So Razor will be back next month.

Nanny Viv and Grandad Len are here for the week, It's Nanny's 60th Birthday and we went to a beautiful restaurant for her special dinner. Holiday to Guissan!

Just had a lovely holiday on the Med near Narbonne, well a few days in some sun which the kids enjoyed a lot, we stayed in Guissan in a friends caravan just next to the beach, and a pool on site which was lovely too. Not too much sun unfortunately but a few great days out including the African Zoo in Siegan, where we saw Giraffe's, Lions, Elephants, Zebra's and a few cheeky monkeys. The kids loved it, and it is well worth a visit if your ever in the area, as the animals have a huge space to roam in and it was a great set up, which looks like it will be expanding next year again. Lots of local lovely food, eating out most of the time. The kids really enjoyed staying in a caravan, which Jas would now like in her garden for herself. Really.....

Work at La Coumette

As always, Bruce has decided to just take a bit of wall out of our 200 year old house! all in a good cause though he assures me. He's building a new structural wall internally in the "dining room". Digging out the "dining room" floor, putting in new windows upstairs then repainting the house...oh yeah and building the new staircase outside in the garden...... just a weekend job.

The Mont Blanc Summit 4810m

Bruce has finally achieved his dream to summit 4810m the Mont Blanc for his 40th and did so in style with friends!

They were lucky with the clear weather this week. Bruce and Razor had a hard climb to the Gouter hut for a early start next morning, leaving at 2.30am to the summit 4810m for sunrise in 3hrs 10mins. Then they had a fast descent to the little train and back to Chamonix for a well deserved beer and pizza!

The rest of the week was filled with Glacial training, rock climbing and rope skills, proving your never too old to learn boys! Bruce's favorite day was doing the Cosmic ridge, technical and challenging.
So here's to next years challenge boys......... top that!
